Venturing out tonight to hit the DevGroup NW speaking engagement, The Secrets of “Designing Great Sites with Photoshop & Dreamweaver” at Portland Community College. The presentation will be given by Greg Rewis, an adobe hatchling, so the info will be straight from the source.
I don’t get much time to attend events these days, but I realize that with trying to run your own studio comes the need for reaching out and networking when opportunities arise. Plus, with this, I get a chance to hear someone else’s point of view on what Dreamweaver and Photoshop can do when put into a sultry union together. It should be interesting.

Explore! is a section on Flickr that features hand-picked photos by the staff. They pick 500 photos each day that rotate each time the page is refreshed. I just saw that 3 of our photos for Dolls for Friends have been featured in the Explore! section. Yay for us!

This is a great little web-based app that seems like it would be a great resource for writers looking to stretch their fingers and minds a bit without the overhead of using a full featured suite like MS Office or Open Office.
I also imagine this could be used as an on-the-fly html editor of sorts. I think this will make the old Ma.gnolia list for future reference.
