Our little side project, Dolls for Friends, had the wonderful opportunity to have work featured in December’s issue of Portland Monthly magazine. There are some words about the feature on the DFF weblog.
Because we had experience in both print and web design, and because we truly loved working in both mediums, we decided that we shouldn't be completely exclusive in any one particular area.

Crafty, What?
December 24th, 2009Paper Trail
June 19th, 2009Jill and I were just interviewed as Dolls for Friends for an upcoming article in our local newspaper, The Columbian. The piece will be about our involvement in the upcoming Recycled Arts Festival in Vancouver, WA over the weekend of June 27/28.
This is the second year we have participated in this show, and it’s probably one of the best (and only) craft-related shows in Vancouver. The article mainly focused on our style, process and work aesthetic. We’re not sure when the piece will be coming out, but we are checking the paper regularly so we can snag a copy of it.

We just finished collaborating with Colby Nichols and Josh Kenyon of Jolby for their upcoming gallery show, “Home is Where You Make It“. These are pics of some of our contributions to the show.
