Because we had experience in both print and web design, and because we truly loved working in both mediums, we decided that we shouldn't be completely exclusive in any one particular area.

The Inner Voice

Honestly Honest

August 14th, 2009

I just finished reading Smashing Magazine’s new article about corporate blogging. There is a lot of good information there on making your company’s weblog a real asset-not just a marketing tool, but a voice. Gone are the days of inpersonal, corporate speak. Consumers and clients want to hear the “individual/personal” voice of the company. By presenting the company as an individual that talks with a customer/client on a one-on-one basis, rather than talking down to them from the 10,000 foot view, we can create lasting working relationships-a feature that is becomming more and more essential during these times.

Impressed by the Press

We all love it when our work gets a little bit of recognition, and thankfully, this month lightning has struck twice. Earlier this week we did a short interview for an article on creative business cards and promotion for Smashing Magazine. The piece, Business Card Design: Better Than A Plain Ol’ Business Card, was published today, and it looks great. We got a direct quote and a double link to our sister project, Dolls for Friends. Thanks to Kat Neville and Smashing Magazine for contacting us about contributing to the piece.
